BCR Diagnostics relocates to Chandler, Arizona

Chandler, Arizona, January 14, 2011 – BCR Diagnostics, Inc., a biotechnology company specialized in developing a new line of cell-based biosensors, today announced it will move to new laboratory facilities at the Innovations Technology Incubator of Chandler, AZ. The Incubator is a recently opened center providing state-of-the-art laboratories, facilities, and services to start-up science and engineering companies (http://chandleraz.gov/default.aspx?pageid=335).

Boris Rotman, BCR's CSO, said, “Our move to Arizona will allow us to strengthen existing collaborations between BCR and both the Biodesign Institute of Arizona State University and Engineering Arts LLC (Tempe, AZ).

BCR's most advanced product is a rapid biological indicator (rBI) for sterility testing, which is undergoing a validation study designed for a 510(k) submission to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
